Erica N. Martin is the author of four fictional novels, Second Time Shame on Me, Serenity Place, Straight with no Chaser and most recently released Destiny Interrupted. She is also the founder of Second Time Media and Communications. From the tender age of 3 she began to develop a love for reading and soon discovered her gift of writing and hasn't looked back since. After much prodding and encouragement from her family and friends she finished and published her debut novel, Second Time Shame on Me in 2003. A fictional novel based in Detroit that follows the friendship of four women and their quest to learn the lesson behind the old adage, "First time shame on you, second time shame on me."

She released her second book Serenity Place in March 2005. Serenity Place follows the story of the staff of a fictional day spa in Chicago. She introduces many colorful characters that you will fall in love with. Serenity Place stresses the importance of thinking before you make decisions that affect yourself as well as the others around you, as the consequences to a poorly thought out choice can be deadly.

Straight with no chaser is the much anticipated sequel to Second Time Shame on Me and has received rave reviews. The girls from Sid's Place have captured the readers hearts  again and if you didn't get the message from the first book well let's just say she's giving it to you Straight with no Chaser in this one! She stresses that fact that we as people need to learn from our mistakes. Destiny Interrupted, her newest release was co-authored with new and upcoming author Greg O. Jones. Already receiving rave reviews, this is definitely one you want to pick up! Erica has also lent her writing skills to a bi-monthly column featured in Hype Magazine called "Chocolate Scoop."

Erica founded Second Time Media & Communications, in 2004 to help other writers become self-published authors in the most economical and efficient way.  To date there 13 authors on the Second Time Media Roster. She lives in Detroit with her two sons and enjoys traveling, shopping and spending time with her loved ones in her spare time.
