William Massey was born in Bay City, TX and moved to Washington, D.C. shortly thereafter. It was in the fifth grade that he developed the craft that he loves today. After watching one of his classmates doodling on his pape, William began to emulate him. His teacher noticed and encouraged him to also write down his thoughts on a brown paper board in the back of the classroom. Eventually his mother bought him some drawing tablets to nurture his desire to draw.
He secured a comic book collection in his early teens and soon realized that this was indeed his passion: To write and draw comic books for a living. When a close friend agreed to become his collaborator, they tried many avenues to break into the field, but to no avail. William has had some of his short stories and artwork published. He also published his own comic strip, "Lisa," in the The Tribune for a short period of time. William's ultimate goal is to publish comic books, novels and perhaps get a few screenplays developed. As well as venture into other avenues in the art field such as painting, sculpture and photography.
He currently resides in Houston, TX and is looking forward to the December 2008 release of his sophmore book, Moments: Poetry and Reflection.
